】

1. To learn some new words and expressions 2. To find the information according to the poster and tape. 3. To talk about the plan of going out. 4. To remind students to be a polite traveler. 【教学重难点】

1.Students will be able to use the expressions freely. 2.Listening skills training. 【教学过程】

Step1 Lead- in

1. Talk freely with students: What do you do when you are free in spring ? Step2 Presentation

1. Watch a Video about palace museum then say something about the palace museum

2. Present the names of different palaces. 3. Learn more phrases like: works of art, Chinese paintings, the golden throne...

Step3 Listening

1. Read the poster in Part A1 and answer: What’s the poster about ? 2. Listen to the tape and complete the table in Part A2.

3. Say something about the five palaces

4. Finish part A4

Step4 Speak-up

1. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

2. Work in pairs and practice the dialogue. 3. Make up a new dialogue about making plans for a visit. Step5 Have a competition
