Show some sentences using the present tenses in the text to ask the Ss to conclude the use of the present tense. Step 2

Learning Self- learning the language points about the present tense . Discuss with the group members

about the exercise about the present tense. Step 3 Extending teaching 1.一般现在时

(1)表示现在经常或反复发生的动作或存在的状态。常与

always,often,usually,seldom,sometimes,hardly,every day,once a

week等连用。

(2)表示主语的性格、能力、特征等。

(3)表示普遍真理和客观存在的事实。

The earth goes around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。

(4)表示按时刻表、计划或安排将要发生的动作,常用动

词:come,go,leave,start,fly,begin,return等。

(5)在条件状语从句和时间状语从句中表示将来,即“主将从现”。

We’ll go to Beijing if it doesn’t rain tomorrow. 如果明天不下雨,我们就去北京。

6)用于文学作品或影视戏剧中。

Suddenly a door opens and a football flies into the

classroom.(In comes a boy.) 突然门开了,一个足球飞进了教室。(一个男孩进来了。) 2.现在进行时

(1)表示说话时正在发生或者进行着的动作。

I am writing a letter now. 我现在正在写信。

(2)表示现阶段正在进行的动作。

He is preparing for the exam.他正在准备考试。

3)有些动词,如improve,change,get,come等用进行时表示“逐渐变化”的含义。

His health is improving each day. 他日渐康复。

We ought to go;it’s getting late. 我们该走了,天越来越晚了。

(4)go,come,leave等表示位置转移的动词常用进行时表示将来的动作。

He is leaving at 8 o’clock tomorrow. 他明天8点出发。

(5)与always,constantly,forever等副词连用,表示赞叹、厌烦等感情。

He is always thinking of others. 他总是替别人着想。
