一、整体设计思路

本节课设定为定语从句的巩固课（第二节），活动中的语言素材均与视频“Change your words, change your world.”相关，均为教师原创。本节课以视频素材为主线，由视频内容延伸出练习题目和讨论话题，使学生在了解分析背景故事和享受故事内容的同时复习巩固定语从句语法点。在有趣的情境中学习本枯燥的语法知识，从而达到掌握知识和提高兴趣的双重目的。

本节课为定语从句第二课，建立在对本班学生全面系统讲解了定语从句语法的基础上。在定语从句教学中，教师发现学生对语法学习有较强烈的要求，但又不喜欢教师填鸭式的、喋喋不休的讲解，而喜欢探究性、新颖轻松的学习方式。

因此，教师旨在通过特定情境的语法学习，活跃语法学习课堂气氛，减轻学生语法学习的心理压力，提高学生语法学习的学习热情，并引导学生探索新颖的语法学习方式。

二、教学目标

1. 学生通过观察描写视频内容的、含有定语从句的句子，发现定语从句的语法功能及结构特点（先行词、关系词、从句位置）。

2. 学生通过表格形式讨论所呈现的定语从句，归纳出关系代词在从句中的作用及其所充当的成分。

3. 学生通过完成找句练习、填空练习、并句练习和造句练习，由浅入深巩固、运用定语从句，无形中达到将语法活用于生活的目标。

4.学生通过基于特定素材的语法学习，了解学习语法的各种途径，并提高学习语法的热情。

三、教学重难点

1. 教学重点

学生在所创设的真实情境中，通过观察、对比、讨论，从而发现语法规律、感悟定语从句的美，将知识转化为技能，将定语从句活用于生活。

2. 教学难点

学生在复习巩固语法知识的同时感受视频素材所含深意，体会语言之美、语法之美。

四、教学过程

Step1. Leading in

1. Greet the students and ask students to enjoy a short video which is related to the power and beauty of words to lead in the topic of grammar.

(设计目的：通过观看视频了解本课语言素材所依据的话题和背景，激发学生的学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛.

Step 2. Thinking and discussing

Teacher presents three questions that describe the learning points of the Attributive Clause in different levels, and let Ss think and discuss to get their answers in their minds. (设计目的：通过思考和讨论有关定语从句的相关问题，提取学生脑海中相关知识并在脑海中形成个人观点，为接下来的学习做准备。同时观看视频能够帮助学生了解本课语言素材所依据的话题和背景，激发学生的学习兴趣。)

Step3. Reviewing and practicing Task1. Let Ss read the short passage to find the sentences of the Attributive Clause.

Task2. Discuss the structure and elements of the Attributive Clause, then let Ss finish the blanks. 关系代词

Task3. Ask Ss to fill in the blanks with Relative Pronoun. 1). An old man _________ is blind and poor is waiting for help. 2). Teacher presents 2 groups of sentences, and let Ss discuss how to combine two simple sentences into one with attributive clauses. 1). More and more people came and gave coins to the old man. 2). (设计目的：从找句练习、填空练习、并句练习到造句练习，由浅入深巩固、检测学生对定语从句的掌握程度。所有练习都围绕本课中心话题展开，使学生在情境中学习定于从句，增加了语法学习的乐趣。)

Step4. Discussing Show the topic on the screen, and let Ss discuss in groups to exchange their opinions. Then the leader in each group should stand up to report their discussion result. Teacher should raise a claim that the Attributive Clause should be included in each report. (设计目的：学生在对本课中心故事和人物角色的讨论中，既练习了将定语从句运用到实际语言表达中的能力，同时又对情境故事有了进一步深刻的理解，兼顾了本课的学习重点和话题素材的高利用率。)

Step5. Conclusion Teacher make a conclusion about the topic discussed above, and encourage Ss to learn grammar in funny and easy ways. (设计目的：教师在学生讨论后带领学生总结本课话题，总结语言使用了恰当的定语从句，使学生再次体会定语从句的实用性。其次，教师对话题的总结和升华，帮助学生树立语法学习的重要性意识，唤起学生学习语法及学习语言的热情。)

Discuss the question after class and try to make some sentences of the Attributive Clause to
