Teaching methods and aids: Listening and speaking methods; Pair work; Multimedia teaching Teaching steps: Step 1：Revision (1)Who has good eyes? Have the students say the letters that they saw out quickly. Show all the letters, read them together.

(2)Review the words and sentences using some pictures. Step 2：Task 3a

Let the students open the books and turn to page S7. Look at 3a.

Ask:What can you see? Play the recording. Ask them to listen and number the pictures. Check their answers together. Step 3：Task 3b Look at the pictures in 3a again. There are some incomplete words under them. Ask the students to listen to the recording and complete the words under the pictures. Check the answers. Step 4：Task3c (1)Listen and repeat. (2)Explain the new sentences: Spell it please. (3)Practice the conversation in pairs. Then practice and present some more

conversations with their partners by using the pictures in 3a.

Step5: Task 3d Look at 3d. Ask the students to listen to some conversations and number the words you hear [1--4]. Check the answers. Step 6：Task3e Talk about the things in the picture and practice the conversations in pairs to remember the sentences that we learned. Step 7：Exercises Let the students choose the best response from A to G in the box to complete the dialogue. Each choice should be used only once. Then check the answers.
