Procedure Pre-listening (听前) Step1 Review Review some subjects using pictures and real objects. Step2 Presentation 1. Present some adjectives. 2. Match the opposites. 3. Introduce some classes to ask students if they like them and why. Use the adjectives to describe. While-listening (听中) Task1 Listen and check the words you hear in 1a. Task2 Listen again. Circle the classes David talks about . Task3 Listen. What does David like or dislike? Fill the chart. Task4 Listen again. Fill in the blanks to finish the passage. Post-listening (听后) Task1 Work in pairs to talk about David’s favorite subject.

Task2 Talk about your favorite subject with your partner. Tell students that we should learn every subject well because it’s our duty to finish them well in middle school. Task3 Work in groups of 3 to talk about your partners’ favorite subjects. Finish the chart when you’re talking and report. Ten minutes later, I will ask some of the students to report you result. Homework Make a schedule using English, talk about it and write it down.
