Learn to talk about SS’ favorite subjects and give reasons. 2. Learn the seven days of the week and some adiectives. 3.Improve the students’ listening and speaking skills . Language points(语言点)：

Step 1.Warming-up and revision（课堂热身和复习）

Revise the words about the subjects on the screen ,then have a match in groups , next ask and answer like this :

----What’s your favorite subject?

----My favorite subject is …

After the talk get the students ask and answer questions about it. Step 2. Presentation（呈现新知识）

1) Ask the students to answer the questions to learn the days in a week:

How many days are there in a week?

What are they ? Then let the students read them and recite them . At last ,practice them like this : ---- When do you have …?

---- I have … on …

2) Learn some adjectives like boring, fun, interesting, free …….Then pratice them like this:

---- Why do you like … ? ---- Because it is interesting/fun/... Step 3. Practice 1

1.Let the students read the words in 1a and match them on the left with their opposites on the right ; then choose some students to give the answers ; at last ,check the answers and finish 1a. 2.Play the tape . Let the students listen and check the words they hear in 1a, then check the answers and finish 1b. Step 4. Practice 2

1.At first, ask the students to read the schedule in 1c; Then play the

tape and let them circle the classes David talks about on this schedule ;next, choose one student to tell the answers ;at last ,check the answers and finish 1c . 2.Do a groupwork .

Let the students talk about their favorite subject with their partner. Finish 1d. Step 4. Homework.

Finish the exercises of this period in your exercise-book .
