1 Show the clothing cards and price tags and ask students to remember them. 2 Show the chart on PPT

B: How much are the/these/those shoes? S S S They’re $1. They’re $2. It’s $3. S S H It’s $4. It’s $5. It’s $6. S S C It’s $7. They’re $8. It’s $9. 3 Split the students into pairs. 4 Have students look at the chart. Explain that each letter represents an item of clothing. Explain that phrase “

it’s”

or “they’re”

before the price will dictate if the item of clothing is singular(e.g. a skirt) or plural(e.g. shorts). 5 Student A chooses a square by saying the price(e.g. They’re $2). Student B then finds the price and makes a question about an item of clothing starting with the associated letter( e.g. How much are the shorts?) 6 Have students take turns to say the prices and make questions using information from the chart. 7 Finish by saying each of the prices and eliciting questions from the class. 8 Work on 3b look at the pictures of 3b and write the questions and answers in the chart.
