4. The students know something about “Road safety” and can stay safe on the road.

Step One: Preparation (Pre-reading)

T: Hello, boys and girls, what day is it today?

S: It’s Thursday.

T: And what day is it tomorrow?

S: It’s Friday.

T: Yes. The weekend is coming. And what are you going to do this weekend?

S1: I’m going to stay at home and do some homework and housework.

T: You are a good boy / girl. What about you?

S2: I’m going to the park with my family.

T: Sound great. How will you go to the park?

S2: Maybe we will go there by car or on foot.

T: So children, every day we walk or drive on the road. Now I prepare a video for you, let’s enjoy! T: Can you tell me what’s the video about? S: Road safety. T: Yes. Today’s topic is Unit 4 Road safety.
