PEP5 Unit 1 What’s he like? 一．教学目标

1.继续学习“Who’s…?He/she is…What’s he/she like?” He/She is … Is he/she…?Yes,he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”等询问某人是谁，怎么样的相关交际用语。

2.能够听懂，会说，会表演Let’s talk的内容并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行真实交流和运用。

3.在对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯，培养良好的语音语调和语感。

二．教学重难点 重点：学生能够表演Let’s talk的交际内容。

难点：能用Who’s …?He/She is … Is he/she…?Yes,he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”进行真实交际。

Step1. Warming-up 1．Greeting 2. Show ‘main scene’ Talk about it. Q: Where is it? \What can you see? \Who is he\she？\Is he\she …? (设计意图：通过主情景图导入新课，唤起旧知。另外，激起学生参与课堂的积极性。)

3. Let’s try Listen and tick. (设计意图：为新知做铺垫。) Step2. Presentation 1.Learn let’s talk （1）Show the picture of the talk. Chen Jie and John are in the Chinese class. Who will be ChenJie’s new Chinese teacher? listen and find out the answer. (Ms Wang.) (设计意图：通过听音寻找答案，使学生整体感知新授内容。) (2)Practise the words ‘will be’in the real life. Show some photos of the teachers and introuduce them, then ask ‘Who will be your new PE\... teacher? (设计意图：拉近现实生活巩固并运用新知。) (3)Continue talking about Ms Wang. ‘What’s she like?’

c.Adress ‘sometimes’and explain its meaning through a teacher and a menu of a week. (设计意图：通过视觉感和语言相结合使语言难点更加直观地得到突破。) 2. Practice the main sentences ‘What’s he\she like? Is he\she…?’

(设计意图：提高学生对文本的掌握程度。) Step4.Consolidation 1.Describe Ms Wang though the chart imformation . 2.Read the passage about Ms Wang . 3.Retell the passage. (设计意图：逐级提高学生的表达及写作能力。) 4.A mysterious task(神秘的任务) Let the leader draw out a card ,then the students talk about their topics in pairs.
