Unit 4 What can you do? Part A Let’s talk 教学内容分析：

本课是人教版教材五年级上册Unit 4 What can you do?的第二课时Let’s talk.主要让学生简单介绍会做哪些家务劳动，怎样询问别人会做什么家务。这是在第一课时学习了家务劳动的词组的基础上学习第二课时的。

教学目标：

知识目标：能够听懂会说Are you helpful at home? What can you do? I can sweep the floor. You’re helpful. 能力目标：能在类似情景中灵活运用Are you helpful at home? What can you do? I can sweep the floor. You’re helpful. 情感目标：了解安全知识，养成讲究卫生，热爱劳动的好习惯，培养乐于助人的优秀品质。

教学重点：What can you do? I can…

教学难点：Are you helpful at home ?以及在实际情景中正确运用所学对话。

教学准备：tape-recorder,pictures,chart. 教学过程：

一.Warm-up 1.

播放P44 Let’s chant.

（设计意图：教师与学生边说歌谣边做动作，营造良好的英语学习氛围，不仅复习了旧知识I can…并为新内容What can you do的呈现做好铺垫。）

2．Free talk. T: Mike can draw animals in the zoo. What can you do ?S1: I can…S2…

（设计意图：从歌谣自然过渡到自由对话从而复习Let’s learn 部分短语）

二．Presentation 1.Let’s try的学习。

出示Let’s try图片。T: Oh,you’re helpful. Is Mike helpful? What can he do? Can you guess? Now let’s listen to the tape and tick the right pictures.

（设计意图：通过学生猜测Mike可能会做什么，让学生有目的的去听，从而提高学生的听力水平。）

2.学习句型：Are you helpful at home? T: Ok.Mike can sweep the floor, cook the meals, clean the bedroom and water the flowers. So he is helpful at home.引出Are you helpful at home ?(强调学生在家能做什么)S1:Yes, I am helpful.I can…S2…. T: I think all of you are helpful at home. So are you helpful at school? What can you do at school?(强调在学校会做什么) （设计意图：让学生说说自己在家和在学校两方面的表现，继而拓宽学生的思维，增加词汇量的输出，提高学生的口语表达水平）

3.Let’s talk的学习

T: Wow, you’re helpful . Is Chenjie helpful at home? What can Chenjie do ? Listen, look and say. Then listen again and read the dialogue in different roles. 三.Practice 1.Group work: make a survey. T: I know you are all helpful. Now let’s make a survey.

2.Report: * * can…. * * can…. They’re helpful. 四．Consolidation 1.创设Mothers’ Day的情境，T: What can you do for your mother on Mother’s Day? Let’s make a dialogue. 2.Some tips: You’re helpful at home. When you do housework there are some tips(P54 Good to know) for you. Let’s see together.

（设计意图：通过这一活动激发学生劳动的热情，体会父母的辛劳，学会在平时生活中关心和体贴父母。）

3.创设Miss White生病情景，请学生到她家帮忙。根据这一情景创编对话。
