一、设计与施教理念

在新课标理念的指导下，根据学生的实际水平，采用多媒体教学，联系实际，激发学生的学习兴趣，加强学生的英语阅读技能、语言运用能力。

二、教学背景分析 1. 学情分析：

本课时为第四单元的读和讨论课，主要是让学生就What kind of learner you are进行讨论。阅读之后，教师让学生就文中提出的建议进行讨论，也可以让学生提出更多想法。

三、教学目标 Knowledge aims: 1.

To enable students to learn three kinds of learns: visual learner, auditory learner, tactile learner. 2.

To enable students to learn some key words, phrases and sentences. Ability aim: 1.

To enable students to learn to make a speech. Emotion aims:

To help students realize that everyone can make a difference using if he knows what kind of learner they are. 2.

To help students develop the sense of cooperative study

Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures about their current condition. The students watch the pictures carefully and tell the importance of efficiency. Answer the question by doing the quiz. To arouse the students’ interest and review some words. Step 2

2)Discussion The students will be divided into several groups.
