教材分析

本单元的using language 部分是继续reading的课文，让学生继续感知戏剧的魅力，充分挖掘本戏剧中的人物性格和特性。

学情分析

学生对戏剧还是颇有兴趣的，只不过由于中西方文化的差异和时代的不同，学生需要充分阅读之后才能体会到当时的情景。

Difficult point: Understand the characters in the play. Know the proverb : Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it. 通过学习课文，让学生对西方的戏剧文化有了初步的接触和了解，在课堂上给了学生充分的阅读和讨论、思考的时间，并对重点单词和短语进行了讲解。课前和课后也让学生做了相关材料的查阅。但是由于中西方文化和时代的差异，教学重点还是放在了学生的英语基本技能上面，对文化的感悟只是皮毛。有机会可以让学生多接触一些西方的文化，让学生感知英语的多文化、多层次和多元性。
