Unit7 How much are these socks? （grammar focus 3A-3C）

教材内容分析

本单元主要围绕购物这一主题展开，熟练运用how much is/are …

句型对衣物的价格进行问答练习，从而对目标语言达到熟练运用。

二、

学情分析

本课内容非常符合初中生的兴趣爱好，学生喜欢购物，喜欢买东西，因此在学习中应利用电教媒体力求创设生动的购物情境，让学生在玩中学，学中玩。

教学目标

（一）

知识目标：

How much is this T-shirt? It’s seven dollars. How much are these socks? They’re two dollars. （二）

能力目标：学生能用英文介绍自己的衣物，通过介绍服装，学习谈论服装的价格能够熟练地就相关话题进行交流。

情感目标：通过询问衣物价格，使学生进行合理消费，理解父母工作的艰辛，增进对父母的尊重和理解。

教法选择与学法指导

英语教学要紧密联系学生的生活实际，采用“任务型”教学模式让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与合作等方式，实现任务的目标，感受成功。同时教师在教学过程中通过丰富的、动态的的英语资源，创设情境，训练学生用英语进行交际的能力。

Step1. Warning-up and revision (1)

Daily greeting to the students (2)

Show a picture（红色长裙）

to students and ask students: T: What color is it? S: It’s red. T: Can you guess what is the price of this dress?(用中文再说一遍意思：你们可以猜猜这条红色裙子的价格吗？) S: …（学生开始猜测，如果学生猜的数字比我设计的数字偏低我就会跟他们说up、up、up,如果他们猜的较高就说down、down、down直到有人猜到）

猜出价格之后，奖励这位学生一颗红星，然后再次询问：Do you like this dress?学生回答“I like it””好，今天我们来学习更多漂亮衣服的单词吧！”

Step2.New words presentation

1.

Teacher says:,”Hello ,everyone!Today we shall take up Unit 7 “How much are these socks?”

Present the pictures of clothes one by one

T: Look at this picture,can you tell me what ‘s this? S:袜子

T：Yes,but do you know how to say “袜子” in English? S: Socks? T: YES, you are right.read after me:”socks,socks,socks”

S: Socks,socks,socks. T: S-O-C-K-S, Socks! S: S-O-C-K-S, Socks! (接下来依次学习T-shirt,shorts,sweater,bag,hat,trousers,shoes,jacket and skirt) 3.

Practice 经过一番跟读之后，学生已经对新单词有所了解，然后老师在PPT上呈现一些被打乱的字母，让学生重新排列成正确字母的顺序然后读出来。看谁又快又准确。

What do we use to buy clothes?(RMB,dollar,pound) 2.

Show some pictures about money: 1 dollar,5 dollars,10 dollars.1 yuan, 5 yuan,10 yuan.and so on. 3.

T：Look at the price of this sweater is nine dollars. So how much is this hat?(skirt/shirt?) Ss: It’s seven dollars.($12/$6) T:these pants are fourteen dollars.How much are these sweaters/socks?) Ss: They’re eight dollars($5/$11) 4.

Step4.Practice

老师展示一些关于衣服的图片，给出价钱的大概范围让学生猜出正确的价格，在回答价格的时候要运用所学的句型回答。For exemple：

给出Bag 的图片，价格$7-$9,T: Is it…? Ss: It’s a bag. T: How much is it? Ss:It’s…(学生猜出的价格，每人只有两次机会猜出正确的价格，回答正确奖励星星)

Step5.Work on 1a 1.

T:Now , please open your books and turn to page37.Look at 1a .You can see a picture of a store and some words we learned just now.Please read the words. 2.

Match the words with the pictures. 3.

Check the answers in pairs like:

Step6.Work on 1c.Pair work 1.

Point out the target language : A: How much is…? B: It’s…dollars. A: How much are…? B: They’re … dollars. Ask the Ss to look at the picture in 1a and tell them what the word sale means.Then the Ss make their conversationin pairs after the sample.Ask some pairs to act out.

Step7.Presentation2 1.

T: What’s this in English ?(showing a picture of a hat) S: It’s hat. T: What color is it?

Ss: It’s red (teacher helps the Ss to answer like :It’s a red hat.It’s a small red hat) 2.

Present the other new words in this way.Let the Ss to talk about the picture in pairs ,following the sample. Step8.Work on 2a and 2b 1.
