本单元是在前面三个热身单元的基础上出现的真正意义上的第一个教学单元。它强调在社会不断进步和发展的今天，要求学生在不同环境下能自如地介绍他人和推销自己，同时利用一切机会获取尽可能多的可行信息，提高自己的听说读写能力。

4. 动词be的自述。

我叫动词be，别看个子小，本领可不少，句中会变形，大家要区分：I后am，you后are，is跟着他、她、它，单数后面用is，复数后面一定用are。
