Step 2 Presentation 1. Let students read the words in Section B, 1a, and try to understand their meanings. 2. Ask students to match the words on the left with their opposites on the right, then check the answers.

Step 3 Consolidation 1. Play the recording, let students listen carefully and check the words in 1a. 2. Play the recording again, ask the students to circle the classes David talks about on the schedule in 1c. If the student have difficulty in listening, play the recording more times and explain the difficult points.

3. Check the answers, finish 1c.

Step 4 Practice Pairwork: 1. Let students talk about David’s favorite subject with partners. 2. Students talk about their favorite subjects, using the sentence patterns in 1d. 3. Check some pairs to act out their conversations.
