1d的话题是在Section A的基础上增加了以when开头的问句。学生首先根据听力材料完成书上方框内的对话，再模仿例子做组与组之间的对话。

Language points 1.free空闲的

free(not busy)作形容词，意为“空闲的”，其反义词为busy（忙碌的；无暇的）。

I’m free this afternoon.Let’s go shopping.今天下午我有空，咱们去购物吧。

【拓展】free作形容词，还可译为“自由的；免费的”。

I’m free.我是自由的。

This is a free school.这是所公费学校。

2.cool妙极的；酷的

cool为形容词，可在句中作定语和表语。

He is very cool in red.他穿着红衣服，太酷了。

【拓展】cool作形容词，还可译为“凉爽的；冷静”。

Today is a cool day.今天天气很凉爽。

Keep cool.保持冷静！

3.A.M.上午；P.M.下午

A.M.意为“上午”，也可用am或a.m.表示；P.M.意为“下午”，也可用pm或p.m.表示。

在西方通常是以正午十二点为界，午前十二小时用A.M.，午后十二小时用P.M.表示。其用

法结构为“数字+A.M./P.M.”，相当于“数字+in the morning/afternoon/evening”。

9 A.M.=9 in the morning上午九点

3 P.M.=3 in the afternoon下午三点
