Unit 9 My favorite subject is science. Section B 1a – 1d 教学目标：

1. Improve the ability of listening. a. Learn to grasp the keywords and then to finish the tasks. b. Learn to use the words and target languages correctly. 2. Learn to make a schedule.

教学重点：

1. Learn the words about subjects: P.E., science, history, biology, math, English, Chinese. 2. Learn the seven days of a week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 3. Learn the description words: busy, tired, difficult, relaxing, interesting, fun, boring, strict. 教学难点：

Step1: Warming-up and revision

1. Greet students as usual. 2. Review the words of subjects: history, Chinese, English, math, computer, science, P.E, music, geography 3. Review the target languages: What’s your favorite subject?

Step 2. Presentation See a short film and review the days of a week then ask and say 1. Ask questions to help Ss to review:

Seven days in a week

The first day – Sunday （Sun.）

The second day – Monday（Mon.）

The third day – Tuesday（Tues.）

The fourth day – Wednesday（Wed.）

The fifth day – Thursday（Thur.）

The sixth day – Friday （Fri.）

The seventh day – Saturday（Sat.）

Step 3: Listening Practice 1. Ask students to scan the tasks and listen. (1) Just listen for the first time and grasp the main idea. (2) Listen for the second time and check the words you hear in 1a (3) Listen again. Circle the classes David talks about on this schedule.
