I. Analysis on teaching materials:

The topic of Unit 7 How much are these socks? is about how to ask about prices and offer help. It’s close to students’ daily lives, therefore it’s helpful to raise learning interests of the students,and improve their spoken and written English. This lesson is the second lesson in this unit. Students have learned many new words about clothes, demonstratives ,numbers,colors and “How much” questions. It’s important to help them organize the grammar by using all they have learned. II. Analysis on learners These ss are from Grade 7and they have been studying in junior high school for almost a year.They have shown great interest in English. They have learned some words and expressions. Maybe it’s a little difficult for some of the students to use the new words and expression correctly,which is also the

points of this lesson. It’s important for them to master how to ask about prices and offer help by using the target languages in all the activities. At the same time they get the correct consumer attitudes in this lesson. III .Teaching
