1.重点:复习1——3 单元学习的句子。

2.难点:能听懂、会说“I like sports。Let’s play!”能将所学的语言融为一体,并能在具体的情景中应用。

教学准备:多媒体课件。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1.Free talk:

T:How old are you?

T: Who’s that girl?

S1: She’s ...

T:Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you,too.

2.Sing a song: At the zoo

3. Review the words. See who reads quickly. Show the slides.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Show a photo of Miss White’s , have Ss answer: Who’s this woman? She’s ... answer the question below according to the national flag:Where is she from?(write on Bd)

2. Show a photo of Yao Ming’s : Who’s that man? Ss: He’s ... T: He’s ... Where’s he from? Ss: He’s from... Yao Ming likes sports. I like sports, too. Lead in the word: sports.( Write on Bd: I like sports.) Teach it.

3.Play the vedio: read aloud. Then answer the question:

Who’s tall? Who’s from the USA?

4.Get to Know Wang Tong and John: describe them verbally.

5.Play the vedio again,Ss follow it. Ss read freely.

Step 3 Practice

1.Role-play the dialog in threes.

2.Game 1:Fill in the dialog.Pass from the first level to the third level.

3.Game 2:Choose the dialog.

Step 4 Extension
