Unit7 Protect the Earth

教学内容：Story time 教学目标：

1. 学生能初步理解并且会听、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组：use，much，oil，glass等，和会运用句型：we use... to... 2. 学生能初步听懂并且会说、会读单词protect the Earth，coal，save energy, come from，cut down，waste water，reuse，plastic, wood, too much, useful 等。

3. 学生能初步感知情态动词should及should not的用法

4. 学生能初步感知保护环境的重要性。

教学重点：

学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组：use，much，oil，glass等，会运用句型：we use...to... 教学难点：学生能初步感知情态动词should及shouldn’t的用法

教学过程：

Step1. Greeting and lead-in 1. Greeting

2. Sing a song< Two little blackbirds> Question: Why do the little blackbirds fly away? 引导学生用Unit6 所学知识回答：

Because the air is dirty. Because there aren’t any trees on the hill. They have no home. T: Now our living environment is polluted, so we should protect the Earth.——出示课题并教读:

Unit 7 Protect the Earth

Step 2. Pre-reading 1.出示无污染的地球图片。

T：Look, the Earth is a beautiful place. There are many kinds of sources in it. Do you know some of them? ( water, trees, air etc.)

2.Show some photos to learn new words. T: Here are other sources. Let’s have a look . ①

Show the photo of ‘ coal’ . Learn : coal ②

Show the photo of ’oil’. Learn: oil ③

Show the photo of ‘wood’ . Learn : wood ④

Show the photo of ‘paper’

T: They are all useful things for us. But these sources are not so many on Earth.

For example: We use coal and oil to make energy.

Step 3. While- reading 呈现一幅被污染的地球图片。

T：Please look at this picture. Is our Earth still beautiful?... Today, there is a lot of pollution. We should protect the Earth at once.(点题) What can we do? 1. Watch the cartoon and find the four key points of the text.
