教学目标：

知识目标：

1.能听懂、会说、会读单词：signs, mean, litter, around, careful, restaurant, shopping centre, someone, floor, smoke, go in, take…into；

2.能听懂、会说、会读句型：What does it mean? It means…No littering/smoking/eating or drinking, Wet floor. You can’t…；

3.能正确朗读、理解Story time。

能力目标：

能运用所学的句型和日常用语进行简单交流。

情感目标：

紧密联系生活实际，引导学生关注标识、讨论标识，做遵守公共法规和秩序的好公民。

教学重点：

Step 1 Warm up and revision 1.

6. Try to imitate.(PPT16-19) 【设计意图】关注精讲：提醒学生Mr Panda也需要学习有关标识的知识，引导学生邀请Mr Panda一同加入观看Story time的卡通片，带着问题整体感知Story time的文本。Story time分四个场景，这四个场景从编排来看形式相同，教师分别采用自读（第一场景）和听录音（第二场景）回答问题，进一步突出重点句型的学习。第三、四场景则以分组操练的形式完成教学，突出了重点句型的机械性操练。

【设计意图】关注习练：本课时教师习练安排了两项习练，首先是Read and act ，

教师依据学生的能力和喜好设置了齐读、分角色读、表演对话三种形式，分组读课文。这样的设置充分考虑到学生的能力和掌握英语的程度差异，尽可能面向全体学生。其次，继续Mr Panda的话题，教师创设Mr Panda看完卡通片后产生颇多想法，并写了一篇日记，让学生帮助Mr Panda完成日记。此环节的设计则是将本课所学重点句型、短语进行初步的整合，以巩固新授环节所学内容，检测学生对课文的理解和对新句型的运用能力。同时日记中还涉及Mr Panda情感变化，教师有意渗透情感教育。
