Lesson 1 How Do You Feel?教学设计
Today I’m going to talk about the topic“
How do you feel?”I will divide the instruction into seven parts:they are Teaching material Analysis, Teaching aims, Teaching emphasis, Teaching difficulties, Teaching methods, Teaching aids and Teaching procedures.
Part 1 Teaching material analysis
This period is from Unit 1 of the grade three. First of all,I’d like to talk about my understanding about this lesson.We have learned Star “If you are happy”
in Unit 1 .So this units link with the sentence“How do you feel?”fluently and ask,answer with each other.That can express their feeling properly. At the same time, students could share happiness and sorrow with their friends.So this period is very important in this unit. Part 2 Teaching aims
I . Knowledge goals:
Let the students learn the following words and sentences about the expressions and feeling.:
happy, sad, angry, tired
How do you feel?
I feel____. II. Skill goals:
1. Use the sentence expertly “How do you feel?”and answer it correctly, students should express their feeling accurately. 2. Sing the song“If you’re sad and you know it”fluently and and act it out.
III.Emotions and attitude goals: Let the students learn to care about the others in daily life. Students should share happiness and sorrow with your friends.
Part 3 Teaching difficulties 1.To recognize and understand vocabulary about feelings. 2.To ask for others feelings. Part 4 Teaching methods In this topic,I will use 11-step Teaching Method and Task-based language Teaching.I design some tasks to help the students learn.I think if I want to improve the students’ oral English,I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work,group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities. That is “Learning by doing,learning by using”.Let the students be the masters of the class teaching,thus,student-centered teaching method is well shown.
Part 5.Teaching aids:
Students can speak, spell and use these words and sentences:
happy ,sad ,angry, tired

Part 6.Teaching materials : PPT、teaching pictures、awards、toy figurines Part 7.Teaching steps Step1. leading-in
Invite everyone to sing the song “ Hello,hello,how are you ?”
(Purpose:Teacher walks around with smile and sings a song with shaking hands,the purpose is to create a happy and easy environment. This is not only review the knowledge we have learned , but also exaggerate the atmosphere about learning English.
)
Step2. Learn new words
Oh,the song is nice.I’m happy.Are you happy? Teacher shows these pictures about“happy,sad,angry,tired”.At the same time, teacher use her face to present feeling, reads these words and then students follow her.
(Purpose:Using pictures presents the new words .It can motivate students’ interest. They can learn it quickly.)
Step3. play a guessing game
1) Teacher make a face to show the feelings about new words, and then
let students guess which words is it. If they answer correctly ,I will give them award for praise. 2)Divide students into two groups.One is the girls, the other is the boys. Then they should guess these new words. Guessing Game
(Purposes:Playing games is very important way for learning English ,and the way for exciting interest.So for this part. It can excite students’
interest and focus on the students’ mode of thinking and observation.)
Step4. have a chant
(Purposes:Let students stand and do a chant. One purpose is to relax students’
nervous emotion, the other purpose is to carry on the next step quietly.)
Step5.Learn dialogue
1)Teacher use toy figurines make a dialogue,then lead to the context about lesson1:
How do you feel?
I feel________.(happy,sad,angry,tired) 2)Let students listen to the video tape and learn the correct English pronunciation. 3)Teacher can make a dialogue to all of the students , then make a dialogue to several students. The purpose is to set an example for
everyone. :

Step6.Pair work
Students can make up a dialogue to talk with their partner with expression. How do you feel? I feel_______. (Purpose:Let students use the sentence“How do you feel?”fluently and ask,answer with each other.That can express their feeling properly. At the same time, students could share happiness and sorrow with their friends.)
Step7.Sing a song: Let’s learn the song“If you’re sad and you know it”, broader the song and teacher leads the singing with students. Step8.Play a game: Divide the class into four big groups. Every four people should be in a group. The four groups are singing while taking action when the song is playing. If some of the groups do the best ,the teacher will give them awards.
(Purpose:Let students learn knowledge under the lively song and cultivate the ability of cooperation, finally enhance students’ positivity.)
Step9. Conclusion
Let students talk about what they have learned today. (Purpose:Let students hackle the context of this lesson, consolidate knowledge and intensify the memory. )
Step10. Homework
Teacher should suggest students make all kinds of the feeling to let the other students to guess which words it is.
(Purpose:Let knowledge which uses into our daily life, and the purpose is to learn in order to practice.)
