一、教材分析：本课是冀教版四年级下册第四课，本课主要学习有关表示天气的名词：sun, cloud, rain, wind, snow, 以及cold，hot两个表示形容天气的形容词。学生能够认识、理解以及灵活运用表示天气的名词。第二部分的歌曲既是对月份的复习，又涉及到了本课表示天气的名词，而且尤为11课谈论天气的形容词做铺垫，所以学好本课至关重要。

二、学生分析：四年级的学生学习了一年多的英语后，有了一定的英语基础，但是很多同学上课注意力不集中，还有一部分学生学习有困难，因此应采用多种方法激发学生的学习兴趣，从单词开始，循序渐进，让学生从单词到句子再到对话，逐步提升能力。让学生有成就感，保持对学习英语的兴趣。

三、教学目标：

1、学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇：rain, sun, hot, snow, cold。

2、学生能学会唱The Month Song。

3、学生能熟练掌握本课的单词和句型。

4、学生能运用本课所学知识谈论自然现象。

四、教学过程：

Step1: Class Opening and Review: 1.

Greeting:

T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: Hello, teacher. I’m fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m fine,too. Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. 2.

Review: （1）. T: How many months are there in a year? 找学生回答：There are twelve months in a year. 出示表示12个月份的单词让学生认读和拼读。

（2）. T: Let’s sing a song together. Step2: New Concepts: 1.

出示太阳的图片提问：T: What’s this? 找学生回答：S1: This is the sun. T: Yes. This is the sun. The sun is hot.出示单词sun和hot让学生跟读和拼读。小组讨论图片，并进行小组练习和展示。

出示cloud和rain的图片提问：What’s this? 找学生回答：S2: This is the cloud and the rain. T: Very good. 出示云的图片介绍：This is the cloud. 出示cloud领读。出示rain的图片介绍：This is the rain. 出示rain领读让学生拼读。教师提问T: Do you see the cloud and the rain? 找学生回答：Yes. 小组讨论图片，并进行小组练习和展示。

出示图片wind并说：T: Look at the wind. This is the wind. 出示wind领读让学生拼读。小组讨论图片，并进行小组练习和展示。

出示图片snow并说：T: Look! This is snow. 出示snow领读让学生拼读。并说Snow is cold and white. 出示cold领读让学生拼读。小组讨论图片，并进行小组练习和展示。

提供对话情景，让学生根据所出示的图片练习和展示对话。

T: I like the snow. Snow is cold and white. What about you? 找学生回答，小组练习展示活动。

学唱本课的歌曲：The Month Song.先播放歌曲，让学生整体感知歌曲。然后领读歌词，逐句教授歌曲。最后全班一起唱歌曲。
