：

Step 1 Warming up Greet with each other. Enjoy a song: Say cheese. Step 2 New Teaching 1.Show the picture of the Great Wall (ppt), ask the students what they know about the Great Wall. Then show

a program about the Great Wall.From this program, the students feel the Great Wall is very long and very old. 2. Listen and answer the questions.

Let the ss listen to the tape , then answer the questions. (1) How old is the Great Wall? (2) How long is the Great Wall? (3) How do they go to the Great Wall? 3.Teach the words: tired and afraid. 4.Teach the traffic lights. 5.Say a chant. 6.Fill in the blanks. 3. Practice 1.Show some famous places of Beijing. The students practice the dialogue in groups, and then act. 2.Be a little guide. Step3 Homework 1.Know more about the history of the Great Wall from the internet. 2.Make a poster(海报) about Beijing. 板书设计：
