Lesson7 Arriving in Beijing教学设计

一、教材内容分析：

本课时是冀教版五年级英语下册第二单元的第一课，课文内容是延续上一单元李明、Jenny、Danny和李夫人一行四人去北京旅行，现在到达北京，在去旅馆的路上看到的情景。教学内容贴近学生生活，有利于培养他们在真实情境中用英语进行交际的能力。本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇及句型，在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结。在口语交际时，也要注意句型中单复数的正确应用。

二、学生情况分析：

本班学生性格活泼，对英语兴趣浓厚，比较喜欢分角色朗读及对话表演等形式。对于名词单复数，学生对可数名词变复数（+s）的形式很熟悉，对其他变复数形式知道的较少。本课中出现的特殊变化形式（men\women\children），学生是初次接触。学生对单复数句型变化有所了解，但应用中还不熟悉，经常会出现错误。在教学中应该注重口语练习，以巩固所学知识。

三、教学目标：

1、知识与技能目标：

（1）使学生能听懂、说出并认读单词“men、women、children、people 、many”。

2、过程与方法目标：

（1）学生通过小组合作学习，能够运用所学英语知识来表达看到的事情，更轻松地进行语言操练，并体验小组合作的收获与愉悦。

（2）学生通过多媒体课件展示，整体感知学习内容，接受语言信息，体验感受旅行的快乐，激发生活情趣。

3、情感态度价值观：

（1）培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。

（2）增强学生合作意识及良好的竞争意识。

四、教学重难点：

1、使学生掌握单词“men、women、children、people、many、everyone”。

2、学生能够利用本课所学知识进行情感交际练习。

六、教学过程

Step 1:Class opening and review

1、Greeting: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? Are you happy? Today, we learn a new lesson.Are you ready? Let’s go. 2、Show the picture of “Some famous places in Beijing” to the students.So, Beijing is great! Let’s go to Beijing.

Sept 2:New concept

一、Words 1、课件出示man图，What can you see? （课件继续出示句型） This is a man.one man. 板书：man

课件出示men图, Is this a man?

( 课件继续出示句型)

No,these are men.many men. （拼读men，从音形区别man 与men）板书：men

2、用同样的形式，课件展示学习woman, women等单词。

3、课件出示boy,girl,children图，What can you see? This is a boy. / This is a child. / This is a girl.

The boy is a child. The girl is a child,too. Boys and girls are children. (板书children),拼读children.区别child 与children.

4、课件出示people图, Men, women and children are people.板书，拼读people.

5、课件出示Beijing Train Station图, Look, what’s this place?

It’s Beijing Train Station. Oh, We arrive in Beijing. （板书课题）

Are you tired? Ask more students. ……So, Everyone is tired.（板书everyone）.

（设计意图：通过多媒体课件出示单词直观、形象，能吸引学生的注意力，激发学习兴趣，并在教授单词时展示各个词之间的联系，渗透给学生学习策略。）

二、People in Beijing

1、Guess:Who can you see? Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li arrive in Beijing . 2、课件出示Beijing Train Station图.When do they arrive in Beijing? 课件出示句型，讲解arrive in/at, on one’s way to. What do they see? Let’s have a look! 3、课件展示公园图片。They see a park. 讲解There be 句型。

4、课件展示公园局部图。What are they doing? 练习说句型。

5、Open your book and look at the part one. Read part one.
