本单元将学习月份单词、序数词、重要节日以及描述天气状况的词汇，同时学习表达日期、生日和描述天气的句子结构。本单元内容较多，难度相对有些大，但主题都是与学生日常生活息息相关的，容易激发学生的兴趣和求知欲。

教学目标

知识与技能： 1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：month, Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. May. Jun. Jul. Aug. Sep. Oct. Nov. Dec.

2.学生能听懂并运用句子：

What’s your favourite month?

Whose birthday is in____? 学习策略：学生能在课堂交流中，注意倾听，积极思考，与他人合作积极探索。

教学重点、难点

重点：单词month,Jan.Feb.Mar.Apr.May.Jun.Jul.Aug.Sep.Oct.Nov.Dec 句子What’s your favourite month? Whose birthday is in____? 难点：月份词在句子中的灵活用法。

教具准备：课本，单词卡片，教学光盘

I. Class opening：

Greeting II. New concepts: 1. Introduce new words. 教师活动

T:Good morning, boys and girls. 1. I’m very happy today, because today is my birthday. My birthday is March 12. So I can say:

My birthday is in March. 2. Write the word

(March) on the blackboard. Then let the students say the meaning of the March.

3.Find one student to make a 预设学生活动

Ss:Good morning, Jenny.

Look at the blackboard and read the word after the teacher. Then understand the word. Listen to the 设计意图

通过生日的介绍引出月份词，让学生

在语境中去感悟月份词的运用。

Divide the class into the pairs.

Look at the cards and read the words. Look at the words and guess “What is it?”

Guess the missing words.

Let the students fill in the chart in groups. Then say __/_’s birthday

在对自己的生日介绍中，能够检验学生的预习效果，而且能够加深对句子My birthday is in ___。的理解。

通过对单词的板书，让学生能够认识月份词，发现月份词的书写规律。

通过三个不同形式的练习可以让学生进一步认读月份词。

两人一组的练习既可以培养学生的合作意识，又能够进行交流。
