一、教材分析

这是牛津教材7B第五单元的综合技能课。本课在充分发挥学生想象力的基础上，联系他们的现实生活，并扩展思维空间，向他们展现一些奇妙而有趣的事物

(amazing things)；围绕动物奇妙而有趣之事进行听力练习，趣味性与知识性紧密结合，听力训练与读和写相结合使学生得到了听，说，读，写全方位的技能训练。旨在激发学生的学习兴趣，调动他们的积极性去探索周围奇妙的世界，并在其中渗透关爱动物、爱护自然的情感态度。

教学目标与要求

A.Aims of knowledge 1.Words and expressions ant camel giraffe tortoise bone neck eyelid goldfish live up to 150 years 2.Key sentences Each of their eyes has three eyelids. It says that goldfish can only remember things for three seconds. My friends found it interesting . It’s also interesting to know that each eye of a camel has three eyelids.

B.Aims of ability Make Ss learn more amazing things of animals and encourage them to care about the world. Help students to learn more and describe what they know in English. Train them to use ears, hands, mouths as much as they can to learn English. C.Aims of emotiom After learning something amazing about animals ,the Ss will be interested in animals and love animals . 三、

教学工具

A computer and a tape recorder. 五、教学步骤

Step 1. Warming up and lead-in：

Questions：

1.Do you love animals? Do you know them?

(show the slide)

2.Which animal are you fond of? Why? 3.Which animal are you afraid of? Why? 逐个呈现八张有关动物的图片，复习动物名称，激发学生兴趣，为新授作铺垫。询问喜恶，渗透关爱动物、爱护自然的情感态度。

Step 2. Presentaion. 1.Would you like to learn more animals today？

(show the slide)let’s look at the picture, what is it?

How much do you know about it? （1）How many bones are there in its long neck? （2）How many years can it live up to? （3）How many eyelids does a camel have? （4）Can ants smell things well? 2.Teach the new words: giraffe, neck, bone, tortoise, up to, camel, desert, dry, dusty, eyelid, ant, insect. 3.Let the Ss read the new words by themselves. (show the slide)

通过四张动物的图片新授生词，并介绍动物特性（奇妙而有趣之事），个别特性留作悬念，为听力打下伏笔；介绍动物特性时力求解决生词及短语，降低听力难度；及时进行阶段性复习生词及短语，为听力训练作准备。

Step3. Listening 1.Do you like playing games? Ok, let’s play a game. Guess what animal it is. (show the slide) （1）

They are grey. They sleep on their feet. Usually, they are slow. They have long noses and big ears. They walk on the tiptoe. -------elephants

We have a tail(尾巴). We can swim.

Our colors are unusual. We live in rivers but people often keep us as pets at home. We can only remember things for three seconds. We sleep with our eyes open.

做听力之前，通过猜谜活动（逐句呈现）训练学生思维，即可以复习所学内容，又能激发学生的兴趣，力求学生能情趣高涨的进入听力活动。通过阅读句子，使学生明确听力要求。

Step 4.

Reading and Writing

With Mr Wu’s help,Suzy is interested in animals now. She is writing a thank-you letter to Mr Wu. Let’s help her finish it in partA3 on P71 1.Ss do it by themselves first, then check the answers.. 2.Deal with language points. (show the slide)

3.Read it by themselves first, then read together. 此文为听力的后续，学生能搜寻信息完成短文即可，可作为阅读（朗读）处理。在处理语言点的基础上，学生能翻译重点短语及句型。

Step 5.Speak up Do you want to learn more amazing things about the world?

What amazing things are they talking about? Let’s read it and find out the answer. 3.

. Read the sentences and fill in the blank on the slide. Work in pairs and make up their own conversation. 由于学生已翻书在前，就势谈论课本插图引出主题，让学生带着问题快速阅读并寻找答案。通过听读训练，短时记忆背诵，强化学生思维训练。通过完成句子，复习本单元的一些奇妙而有趣之事物，并进行小组活动训练口语，培养合作精神。

Step 6 Exercises (show the slide) 六、教学反思

1．通过猜谜形式既对新授内容进行复习，又激起学生的学习兴趣，同时为随后的听力训练起到铺垫的作用。

2．由于是在PPT上难于用音标来注释单词，学生对部分单词的读音不够熟练，影响口头表达，应加强课件的制作水平。

3．由于过分注重语言现象而影响了部分教学步骤的时间安排，对那些较难的语言现象，应做到学生只求理解即可。

4．如何进行形式多样、有效的师生、生生交流等课堂活动值得探讨。
