Show Ss the photos and ask Ss to tell the names of the outdoor activities.

Step 2. Listening 1. Show Ss some pictures of kites and talk about their shapes. 2. Finish Part A1 and check the answers. 3. Show Ss some pictures of famous people. Talk about the history of kites. 4. Finish Part A2. Check the answers. 5. Fill in some of the blanks in Part A3 according to Part A2. 6. Complete the missing information.

7. Check A3. Ss check others’ work by using pads.

Step 3. Exercise

Let Ss do the listening exercises with pad. Then check their answers.

Step 4. Homework

Finish off the exercises on the teaching and learning papers.
