Step 1 Lead-in Enjoy a video about Yang Liping and introduce the usages of “ability”.Then show some pictures to practise the sentences: What abilities do …have? They have the ability to …/They are able to…

Step 2 Comic strip 1.

As we all know,there is a man can fly like birds.Do you know who he is?Can you fly like the superman?Eddie believes he can fly like a superman .Do you believe him? 2.

Watch a video and answer questions 1)

Listen to the tape ,ask students to read after the tape. 4.
