Teaching aims

1．Students can listen read write and say the following words :bridge, village, house , tree, building. 2.Students can use the learned sentences to describe the city and the village. Teaching difficult points Students can use the learned words and sentences in the real life situation. Presentaion Step 1 :Warm up Enjoy a song named “In a nature park.”

(吟唱歌曲能活跃课堂的气氛，为新课做铺垫。) Step 2: Presentation 1. Let’s learn （1）Show a picture of a mouse lived in a house and then ask students to read the new word after the teacher.（用图片呈现新单词，直观形象，能激发学生的学习兴趣。）

（2）Show the picture of a city and ask students to read the new words:“building,tree.”（用图片创设情景，学生在描述城市的景象中学习单词。）

(3) Use the same method to teach the word “ bridge and village.（让学生在观察农村的情景中学习单词，词不离句，句不离词。）

Step 3 :Practice Game 1: Look and say Ask students to look at teacher’s mouth carefully and guess the words. （看口型猜单词的游戏是一个单词的词形与意义对照的活动，加深了学生对单词的印象。）

Game 2 :Fill in the blanks Show the pictures of a city and a village and ask students to fill in the blanks of the sentences. （在对比城市与农村的差别中灵活运用所学的单词，加强了学生对单词的应用能力。）

Step 4 : Consolidation Show the pictures of city and a village and ask students to make sentences using “there be…” (让学生用所学句型描述描述城市与农村，让学生在情景中灵活运用所学的句型。)

Step 5 :Summary

Lead the students to compare the difference of the village and city using the learned sentences. (让学生对比城市与农村的差别中复习所学的单词，加强了学生对单词的印象。)

Step 6 :Homework

1. Copy each words 4 times each.

2. Describe your hometown using the learned words and sentences .
