According to the pictures and situations say the words and the sentences in this unit. Emotion Aims: Ask students to know that animals are our good friends, so we must protect them. II

The key points and difficult points: 1. Learn and use the sentence: What do you see? I see…

2. Learn and say the new words: pig、

bird 、chicken、

fish 、sheep 3. The word “sheep” is singular and plural forms are identical.

Teaching methods: Create contexts reactions method and so on. IV Aids: Pictures slide flash and so on V

Teaching Procedures:

Step1 Warming up and revision 1. Greeting.

2. Sing a song “old Macdonald had a farm”and do the actions.

3. Review the numbers. Step2 Presentation

1. We had many animal friends, today we will go on making some new friends with animals. 2. Learn new word “pig”, listen, guess, what is it? Look at the slide. “Pig”, read and spell, exercise more. Then ask: who can imitate pig? (Give stickers to students)

Then, please stand up, who get pig stickers? Look, how many pigs? Together count: one pig ,two pigs, three pigs…, export to new sentences: what do you see? I see….

3. The same method to learn: bird chicken. 4. Learn new words “sheep”, the same method, then follow the teacher to count: one sheep, two sheep…, tell Ss: sheep is singular and plural forms are identical. 5. I have a riddle: It lives in the water, it can swim, and no leg, no arm. What is it? (Guess an animal)

Ask Ss to guess, then the same method to learn fish.

6. Practice the words and the sentence. 7. Learn the dialogue. a. Listen. b. Listen the dialogue again and then answer the questions.

c. Follow the teacher to read again. d. Read it. e. Act out. Step3 Practice Play games. Ask some students come the front to imitate animals, then ask and answer. Using what do you see? I see…

Step4 Consolidation Look at the slide (a farm), find and write in the groups. Then report. Step4 Sum up Step5 Homework
