本课主要学习内容是先让学生了解常用的交通标志，增加交通安全意识，同时带动周围的人养成文明的安全出行习惯。

教学过程Teaching steps: Step 1. Warming up

1. Greetings . 2. Let’s say and act together . 我是一名小交警，

小交警呀小交警；

从早到晚忙不停，

忙不停呀忙不停；

Left , left , left,

right , right , right; Stop , stop ,stop,

turn around ; Go , go , go ! Step 2.

1. Watch a short traffic accident show , let the students realize the importance of obeying the traffic rules . Then tell the students we will learn Lesson 2 Let’s learn.

It is about the traffic rules . 2. Now look at the picture carefully and think hard : What do you want to ask ？

Ss give their questions and the teacher should write them on the Bb. 3. Ask the Ss to listen to the tape. Underline the words, phrases and sentences they can’t read and they don’t understand .

4. (出示自探提示) Let them solve the problems by themselves first.

Then exchange their ideas in small groups.
