To understand the main idea of each story and be interested in the stories. To learn to appreciate and analyze. To learn to continue to write the story. Teaching key points: How to show reading results and evaluate the characters. Teaching difficult points: How to evaluate the stories and the characters in them. Teaching procedure: Step1 Lead in Show students’ handwritten papers about four stories in Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Step 2 Presentation About the whole book
1. Introduce the writers 2. Introduce the characters 3. Match three key words from the four stories. About four stories (group work) 1. Little Red Riding Hood
1) Enjoy a short play. 2) Answer some questions. 2. Snow White and Seven Dwarfs 1) Enjoy a voice show. 2) Answer some questions. 3. Bearskin
1) Read a comic by a student. 2) Do some exercise about the story Bearskin. 4. Rapunzel
1) Introduce the plot of the story Rapunzel
2) Do T or F. 3) Try to continue to write the story Rapunzel. About the whole book
Step 3 Conclusion Summarize the stories and show the reading journals. Step 4 Consolidation Share some other fairy tales to your classmates. Step 5 Homework
