3.T: What do you know about Australia? What do you want to know about Australia? Ss discuss in groups.

T: You want to know a lot about Australia. Let’s read the passage and try to know about them.

Group show: What do you know about Australia?

小组汇报:文本中主要介绍澳大利亚的三个方面:animals, sports, cities

About animals: There are many kangaroos and koalas in Australia.

T: Can you teach the two words?

指导学生读kangaroos and koalas 两个单词。

The same way to learn : Australia football, Sydney。

组长进行汇报本小组的成果,其他组可以进行相应的补充。

教学反思:

1、课本处理的过于单调,没有能够用更新颖有趣的方式吸引学生,本节课是有关澳大利亚,对于农村学生来讲是很好的机会了解英语国家,但课上的并没有让学生爱上澳大利亚。

2、下次可以带上地球仪,或一张世界地图,先吸引住学生,让学生对将要学的知识产生兴趣,然后慢慢倒入,很有趣的一节课,学生会很喜欢,而且会更愿意了解这个世界。而不是所有精力都用在处理课文上。

3、部分学生看到在录像,很紧张,整节课很压抑。
