I see you know so many animals . Do you have an animal in your house? Look here , Lily has a rabbit , Anna has a dog ,Amy has a cat . They all have pets . Kipper’s family also has a pet. Do you know what it is ? Yeah, Floppy , you are right. One day , they wanted another pet, so they went to the pet shop . There are so many animals in the pet shop . (在黑板上贴图片) Let’s see what happened? Let’s learn a new story Lesson 17 The pet shop(贴课题). Step2. Story- telling. 1. At first, listen to the whole story once with one question: What animals can you see in the story? You can see a rat , a spider, a snake and a goldfish. Yeah, you are so smart. Look here ,can you guess what it is ?

Look here , Kipper ‘s family went to the pet shop. Can you guess what did the shop keeper say? ( 做Come in 动作) What did Kipper’s family say? (Wow, so many animals!) 听录音

Look at Chip . Chip was very happy . What did Chip say? Yeah,

I want a rat . It’s cute. 听录音

Look at Kipper. Did he like the rat? No. Oh no! 听录音

How about Biff , what did she want ? What did she say? Present picture 5 and 6 in the same say. What did they buy at last? 3. Take out your paper(拿出习题纸), listen to the story again and match.

Check the answers. (完善黑板上面的思维导图,把那几个头饰逐一贴上去) 4. Open your books (打开书指读) Let’s listen and imitate the story. (用遥控笔遥控每一个音频,听、指读故事一次,齐读一次)

Step3. Retell the story. Ok , you know a lot about the story, can you retell the story ? Let’s have a try. Step4. Extension .

You know so many animals. (逐一呈现单词卡) If you can have a pet, what do you want ? Maybe you can tell the reason . For example , I want a monkey . It’s very funny. You can talk with your partners. (同桌相互说一说) Step5. Homework.
