本单元的主题是假日城市游,教师可以围绕城市风貌的主题来展开本单元的教学。引导学生关爱自己生活的社区环境,培养学生热爱上海、热爱家乡的情感。
在本单元中,学习的单词和词组有modern,museum,foreigner,Yu Garden ,The Oriental Pearl TV Tower,Maglev,Chinese knot,silk ,Pu Dong International Airport等;句型主要是一般过去时,这方面知识在上学期已经学习过一些,这次再次学习教师要帮助学生梳理有关知识并强化和巩固。教师可系统地帮助学生梳理一般过去时的有关知识。
本单元中的难点:1、本课中有很多上海城市景观的专用名词,如
Shanghai Museum, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, maglev train, Pu Dong International Airport, Yu Garden。这些词汇都比较长,学生不易记忆。2、一般现在时和一般过去时的不同用法学生容易混淆。一般现在时表示现在经常反复发生的动作、存在的状态或习惯性的动作的时态。例如本课课文中描写上海风貌的话就用一般现在时。一般过去时态表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用;也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作,常和表示频度的时间状语连用。例如本课中对游玩经过的描写就用的是过去时。
预习要求:
1、听整个单元内容(Grand Theatre、Wonderland、
Farmland、Disneyland)录音三遍。
2、借助课文图片和字典工具,理解单元内容。
3、借助字典等工具,将Wonderland中的单词音标进行一一标注。
4、初步理解Grand Theatre:Holidays in Shanghai 语篇的含义。

Shanghai Museum is one of the four largest museums in China. It was built(建造) in 1952, and now it is in the center of Shanghai---the People’s Square. Total space(总面积) is 38,000 square meters(平方米). There are five floors aboveground and two floors underground in the museum. There are a lot of things here. For example, bronze wares(青铜器), Chinese paintings, sculptures(雕塑), coins, jade wares(玉器) and furniture. The museum is a good place for you to know the history(历史)of China .

Shanghai Museum is one of the four largest museums in China. It was built(建造) in 1952, and now it is in the center of Shanghai---the People’s Square. Total space(总面积) is 38,000 square meters(平方米). There are five floors aboveground and two floors underground in the museum. There are a lot of things here. For example, bronze wares(青铜器), Chinese paintings, sculptures(雕塑), coins, jade wares(玉器) and furniture. The museum is a good place for you to know the history(历史)of China .
