通过问题Dotty, Dotty, what can you do?引出Dotty的自我介绍，从而导入本课第四个动词sing 通过不同形式的跟读让学生快速掌握动词的正确读音，而以及琅琅上口的儿歌帮助学生更好的掌握新授单词，同时儿歌内容的完整性在无形之中也为本课最后综合性活动做了铺垫，即引导学生如何完整介绍自己能力的一种方式。

通过改编歌曲则更好的帮助学生操练动词sing在句型I can中的运用。而全班一起改编四段歌曲的目的，则是将今天所学的单词及句型进一步加以无痕地巩固。
