Step I. Warming up 1.

T greets to Ss

Game : Magic eyes. (eye/eyes, head, foot,feet, nose, mouth, ear, leg, hand, hands)

T shows the pictures of body parts, Ss say the words quickly and point to his body parts at the same time. 3.

Clap hands and stamp feet. Step II. Lead in

1.

T shows an unfinished jigsaw puzzle and Ss make the puzzle together. 2.

Review the word of monsters. Step III. Presentation

1.

T erases the part which covers the monster and presents the picture gradually with the sentence “Here is his/her…/Here are his/her …”

2.

The volunteers erase and present the last monsters with “Here is …/Here are …”

Step IV. Practice

1.

Ss watch the video and answer the question “What has the monster got?”

2.

Ss listen and read the text, then fill in the blanks. 3.

Ss watch the pictures and make the sentences.

Step V. Production Ss draw their monsters and introduce it with the sentences. Step VI. Homework

See the film of Monster University, then introduce one monster to the parents.

课后反思：

本次课上的组拼图，擦图猜怪兽环节上对于学生的积极性的调动还是很好的，学生基本能积极举手。但不足如下：

1.

导入过程太长，进入到课文的时间应该在10-12分钟左右；

2.

让学生进行展示的时间太短

3.

对于here is/are…的整体输入不太多，以至于后面找位置的时后学生容易只找are或是is
