Unit 12 the earth 教学设计

一、教学目标

1、知识目标

词汇：学习并掌握本课的核心词汇：earth, forest , ocean , land, part, rubbish , so many等．

2、功能目标：能流利地应用本单元所学的新词汇、新语法进行听、说、读、写，学会使用We should stop…来表达自己的建议。

3、情感目标：

(1)进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情及学习兴趣。

(2)鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂活动，大胆开口，主动模仿。

(3)通过小组讨论学习，培养学生团结合作，做到能共同爱护和保护地球。

4.能力目标

引导学生积极参与小组活动，促进他们养成动脑、动口、动手的好习惯，初步形成主动学习的意识。

二、教学重点和难点

1.掌握重点词汇及核心句型：We should stop cutting down so many trees. 2.能在语境中运用本课的核心词汇和句型，增强环保意识，提出环保建议。

三、说教学过程

1．热身复习

Ask and answer : What do we get from the trees ?We get … from the trees . 2．讲授新课

(1)教师呈现ppt图片，让学生来学习新词汇" earth /land /forest /ocean/ 设计意图]通过多媒体手段让学生加深对新单词的印象，进而掌握单词的听、说、读的能力。

（2）小组讨论问答

What’s the green/blue/brown/ parts ?

(3)观看ppt图片和课文视频来了解地球，呈现核心句型：We should...and We should stop...并小组讨论：

What should we do to protect the earth? 3．巩固练习

Ask and answer: Can we do anything to help the earth? 3)Ask and answer: What else should we stop doing to protect the earth ? 将学生分成两组，采取比赛的形式，利用ppt课文图片来进行问答操练，看看哪个小组问答的同学多便获胜。

(4)完成P83-What should we save the earth ? 4．总结

通过观看保护地球视频，让学生了解地球日的相关知识。


