教学内容：Unit5 Animals in danger第一课时

教材分析：

本模块以动物为话题，使学生了解一些频临灭绝的动物及它们的现状，培养学生保护动物的意识，并使学生掌握一些动物名称及相关的词汇，复习和学习一些与野生动物有关的词汇，学会简要分析珍稀动物频临灭绝的主要原因。学生除了学习新词汇、训练阅读技巧外面对动物保护油了更深刻的认识。

设计理念：

本节课我通过创设真实的场景让学生通过交流来学习新知，通过丰富的阅读活动，可以让学生逐渐地领悟到如何阅读，经过循序渐进的积累，对学生的阅读理解能力是非常有益的。 教学目标：

1.知识目标：1）能听、说、认读单词：hundred thousand 2）

能听、说、认读句型：In the past, there were many pandas. 2、能力目标：听懂介绍频危动物的短文，理解句型There was/were…的意思。

3、情感目标：知道动物是人类的朋友，我们应该保护动物。

教学重、难点：

通过listen and say中关于频危动物的数量的描述，帮助学生掌握句型There was/were….
