Ability Aims: 1.Read the story fluently. 2.Review the simple past tense. Emotion Aims: 通过学习本课内容,学生体会古代劳动人民的勤劳与智慧,激发学生的求知欲,培养创新精神。
Important Points: Grasp the key words and phrases. Difficult Points: 能灵活使用各种Wh-questions获取信息.
Teaching tools:PPT Teaching Methods:Read and answer,work in groups Teaching Steps: Step1:Lead in. 1.Greetings. 2.Look at the pictures(tools made by Lu Ban),then learn the key words. Step2:Presentation 1.Read a story.. 1)Listen and order the pictures. 2)Listen and answer some easy questions. Who was Lu Ban? Where did he work? What happened to him ? 3)Read the story in groups,then answer the questions. What happened to Lu Ban one day? What did Lu Ban do then? What did Lu Ban find on the leaf? What did Lu Ban think of? Why did Lu Ban want to make a tool with teeth like these?
4)Listen and repeat. 5)Help them review the simple past tense and the sentence pattern. A long time ago,there was a craftsman. (一般过去时) see---saw think---thought make---made say---said cut---cut hurt---hurt 6)Show the story in pairs. Teacher help them to read correctly. Step3:Consolidation Retell the story according to the key words: craftsman, work, cut his finger, thought, looked at... carefully, sharp teeth, cut things, say to oneself, made a saw, Step4:Summary
