Teaching tools:PPT Teaching Methods:Read and answer,work in groups Teaching Steps: Step1:Lead in. 1.Greetings. 2.Look at the pictures(tools made by Lu Ban),then learn the key words. Step2:Presentation 1.Read a story.. 1)Listen and order the pictures. 2)Listen and answer some easy questions. Who was Lu Ban? Where did he work? What happened to him ? 3)Read the story in groups,then answer the questions. What happened to Lu Ban one day? What did Lu Ban do then? What did Lu Ban find on the leaf? What did Lu Ban think of? Why did Lu Ban want to make a tool with teeth like these?

4)Listen and repeat. 5)Help them review the simple past tense and the sentence pattern. A long time ago,there was a craftsman. (一般过去时) see---saw think---thought make---made say---said cut---cut hurt---hurt 6)Show the story in pairs. Teacher help them to read correctly.
