Talking about Squirrels

一、教学目标

1. 知识目标：学生能够掌握本课的新单词：watermelon、table、three people、watermelons、rock; 2. 技能目标：学生能够基本掌握该部分的句型“There is a\an ......”以及“There are\are not any ...”等。

3. 情感目标：学生在老师的帮助下，能够意识到团结合作的精神，并且提高他们学习英语的兴趣及自信。

二、教学重、难点

1.教学重点：学生能正确读准单词，做到发音自然；

2. 教学难点：学生能正确使用

“There be”句型，并区分单、复数的不同表达；同时也要注意介词的使用。

Step1: Greeting

T:Class begins,good afternoon,boys and girls.

S:Good afternoon,.

Step2:Presentation

(teacher will show the ppt ,and ask students)

T:Now look at the picture on the blackboard,what’s this?

S:Watermelon.西瓜

T:Yes.And do you like watermelon?

S：Yes.

T:Now,read after me.Watermelon.

S:Watermelon.

T:Ok,look at this picture.what’s this?

S:Table.

T:where is the table?

S:In the picture.

Step3:Practise Teacher will divide the students into two parts,to practise these new words. T:Now,all of boys read these words,and all of girls read again.Who’s better?

Understand? S: Ok. T:Boys first. All of boys read these words...... ...... T:Good job.(And make a gesture)Now,look at your books,nine pages.Let’s learn.
