Step 1 Warm up and preview 1.

Listen and sing. P18 Hickry, Dickly, Dock. 2.

Play a game:快速记忆,出示两组图片，让学生快速记忆图片内容并回答：

What is he doing？

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Show the picture and ask：

What special day is today？让学生听录音回答问题，讲解单词special。

Listen and repeat then answer the question.听录音，回答四个问题，让学生对课文有初步了解的基础上，训练学生阅读能力及语言组织能

力。

Talk about Father’s Day. 通过和母亲节对比，让学生知道父亲节是六月的第三个星期日。同时对学生进行思想教育，要爱自己的父母。在节日当天做一些表达情感的事情。
