二．设计思路: 《新课程标准》二级教学总体目标要求学生能借助图片读懂简单的故事或小短文,高年级要掌握一定的阅读学习策略。这就是要求学生通过能阅读文章达到理解的程度，包括对故事主要内容的理解、主要人物的理解、故事情节的理解。

本课通过谈论节日激活学生已有知识，通过泛读，精读活动，整体到小组活动，逐步了解与整体感知文章主题，围绕着文中的时间（When）、地点（Where）、活动（What）、感受（Feeling）提出问题，指导学生根据关键词在文中寻找答案。通过读前活动的热身，圣诞节视频的导入，预测故事发展，进入读中的精读，到读后通过4关键词进行思维导图的归纳总结，帮助梳理节整个故事的发展脉络，到最后故事的练习作业，进行分层挑战练习。

三. 教学目标：

1. 能读懂故事，通过思维导图，理清故事脉络，顺利完成课后练习；

2. 能通过老师的指引，找出关键词，获取关键信息，掌握一定的阅读技巧；

3. 不同层次的学生可以根据相应学情选择相对应的阅读后练习有效完成；

4. 了解圣诞的节日文化。

四．教学重难点：

能通过老师的指引，找出关键词，获取关键信息，掌握一定的阅读技巧；能通过关键词，口述故事大意并仿写自己的心情故事。

Pre-reading A.

Greetings and reviewing: Hi, Bs&Gs! How are you today? Are you happy? I am happy too. What feeling words do you know? For example: Happy. Look at the screen, What else feeling words? Ss: excited、sad、upset、angry、tired…. B.

PPT presents the date: What’s the date today? What holiday is coming? May Day. 引出人们在某些节日的心情活动。People are happy and excited on May Day.

What other holidays do you know? 听音判断，引出Christmas Day. D.

Watch the video About Christmas and answer the questions about Christmas E.

Christmas Eve and the night before Christmas, 为下步阅读故事的Date做好铺垫。

Father Christmas’s name is Santa Claus,让学生了解故事的背景

What does the Santa Claus often do on Christmas Eve? ---Give presents to the kids. H.

PPT presents a boy: I was scared. 让学生思考为什么小男孩是scared？根据更多的书本图片预测故事。

Underline the key words answer the Q2,Q3，Q4. 根据问题，快速浏览文章，找出故事发展的地点和时间
