points：1. The structure of present participle. 2. Use the Present Continuous to describe what people are doing .

一、课前音乐（VCD——Shank

二、Greeting . 三、Learn the vocabulary . 1.

故事导入新课。（组合幻灯片的动画，通过教师和一个扮演Gogo的学生的对话把故事用英语讲出来。）故事大概：Gogo今天不开心，因为他的朋友很忙，不能和他一起玩。于是，逐一说出他们正在忙什么。（在幻灯片里显示出来）

2.同学们能用动作来告诉我们刚才What are Gogo’s friends doing? 3.学习playing .

a. T: What are Tony and Lisa doing? Can you do the action.

S: Do the action . T：That’s right. They are playing. Let’s do the action and say out the word .

T：Playing, playing. They are playing.

S: Playing , playing.

They are playing. b.出示一个学生正在玩的幻灯片及单词，让学生拼读单词一次。

c.提问学生读单词，检查发音是否正确。

4.以同样的办法学习shopping, studying, painting, eating, running, sleeping, sleeping, writing这几个单词。

5.操练单词：

a.Loud an soft voice.规则：教师大声读单词，学生小声读单词，如果学生大声读出为错。 b.Siman says. 规则：教师说出单词，如果句子中含有Siman says的，学生读出单词，如果句子中没有Siman says的，学生做出相应的动作来，谁不按要求做为错。

6.学生打开课本P44，听单词录音，再跟读。

7.Sing the song——What are they doing ? ( 先听录音，再跟唱。) 四、Study Target .

1.导入：T：Boys and girls, can you tell me what’s the song’s name? S：What are they doing ? T：Look at the picture . What are they doing ?(出示幻灯片)

S：They are painting. 2．教师板书句子。 3．学生听录音，跟读Target的内容。

4．操练句子。Game：学生闭上眼睛，教师先把一些单词卡片放在某些学生的抽屉里，有卡片的学生站起来做出相应的动作，其他同学根据教师的问题回答。

运用句子What is / are ×× doing ? ×× is / are ××. 五、小结。1.出示句型，让学生找出其中的区别。（出示幻灯片）

2.做练习，让学生先自己做课本的Activity1，再集体讲评。

3.提问学生：What have you learnt at this class ? 4.小结。 六、结束语。教师走到扮演Gogo的学生身边说：Oh, Gogo. It’s time to play ping—pong. Let’s go and play ping—pong.(全班拿起运动器材走出课室) 七、作业。学生读熟Unit9的Vocabulary及Target。
