教材分析:The learning material is taken from Module 2 Me, my family and friends: Unit 1 My abilities. In this unit, Ss learn to talk about their abilities. The topic is related to Ss’ daily life so they will be interested in talking about it. This is the first period of the unit, and the language points involved include the use of some action verbs, “Can” expression. These are the necessary knowledge to prepare Ss to listen, speak and understand about abilities.

教学目标:

Listening skills: After this lesson, Ss are able to understand their abilities and recognize the intonation of special question. They are able to understand the speakers’

intention.

Speaking skills:

Ss will be able to pronounce, recognize and say the new words: read, sing, draw; Ss are able to ask questions about people’s abilities and answer: ------what can you do?

Knowledge: Ss are able to understand and read these new words and sentences. Ss going to be familiar with this topic.

Learning Strategies: Ss will imitate and be willing to express.
