我所任教的五（3）的班级学生整体水平尚可，学生学习普遍扎实，有积极学习心态，但是学生个体差异较大，有些学生距离班级水平较多，部分同学在英语学习方面缺乏自信。自从进入五年级，接近青春期，积极发言的同学略有减少。

对于weather这个主题, 学生并不陌生。在之前的第一课时中，已经学习了

“sunny / cloudy / rainy / snowy / windy / foggy”这些单词以及重点句型“What’s the weather like? It’s…”

Lesson Aims

1. Try to describe the different weather in different places 2. Learn how to express the rainfall and temperature with new words “temperature, degree，millimetre” ，and understand the words and phrases: thermometer, Alaska, Sydney, Centigrade, Fahrenheit, minus … degrees.

3. Learn how to describe the weather with new sentence pattern “Here is the weather for … It is/was/will be…The high temperature is/ was/will be…And the low temperature is /was/will be… There is(are)/ was(were)/will be… millimetre(s) of rain. Thanks for listening.”.

1.Listen to a weather report for Shanghai 2. Make a weather report Touch two glasses of water. Guess the temperature. Look at the thermometer to know the temperature. Talk about the high and low temperature in London, Alaska, Shanghai, Sydney
