Step1.Greeting Hello！Boys and girls！

Step2.Warming up and Revision Review some words learned before to warm up the class and review the words.(guitar,participate,talent show,runner,singer,swimmer,pianist) Step3.Leading in Review the text of last class to lead in the new lesson. What is Jenny good at?(Xiaoxiao,Qiaoqiao,Jim) They want to make a band, they want to participate in the talent show. The talent show is coming. Yes! Today is the talent show. Step4.Presentation 1.

Listen to the tape and answer the question“Who is the winner?”

The winner is Betty Smith!Explain and read the word winner and the sentence. 出示奥运冠军，刘翔，付园惠，孙杨的图片，让学生练习

该句型。

2.号召同学为奥运冠军鼓掌，引出并练习该句子。

Let’s give her（him） a big hand! 3.继续看课文图片，让同学们看一看，主持人为获胜者颁奖的同时对她说了什么话。引出并练习该句子。

Congratulations!（出示幻灯片，让同学重点读）

You won the first prize.（出示幻灯片，让同学们进一步说出 the second/ third prize）

4.Task1 小练习，学生根据图片填出正确的单词，让学生对文中用词有更深的理解和记忆

5. 继续看课文图片，让同学们看一看，Qiaoqiao为什么哭了？（因为他表演中出现了失误）Jenny抱怨他了吗？从而引出并练习句子。

活动Who is the winner？找一些前几课学过的单词卡片。请四名同学到教室前，其中一个可作为主持人，另两人参赛，最后一名同学是他们的朋友。参赛者快速说出单词，主持人计数，看谁抢答的又快又准。待学生完成以上的活动后，作如下对话：

MC：The winner is Betty Smith!

Let’s give her a big hand!（全班一起鼓掌）Congratulations!You won the first prize. S1：Thank you. S2：Sorry, I made a mistake. S3： That’s OK. We can do better next time. 四人一组活动做这样的对话练习，最后在全班展示。
