1、知识目标:
(1)学生能够听、说、认读本课新单词和短语:month, March, April ,May ,June
(2)学生能掌握并灵活应用本课重点句型:
When is your birthday? My birthday/ It is in ….
Whose birthday is in May? My birthday is in May. 2、能力目标:
(1)培养,提高学生听、说、读的能力。
(2)培养,发展学生学习合作的能力。
3、情感目标:
唤起学生学习英语的兴趣,通过了解他们的生日和爱好,学会关心他人,增进情感,同时培养学生的跨文化意识和国际视野,让学生学会表达自己的情感,积极参加小组活动。
教学重点:单词March, April ,May ,June
句型Whose birthday is in May? When is your birthday?
教学难点:运用重点句型于实际生活,对重要节日的理解。
教学过程:
Step 1: Warming up (1)T: Good morning, boys and girls Ss: Good morning, Miss Gao.
(2)Sing a song together: There Are Seven Days.
Step 2: Lead-in T: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they ?
Ss: Four. They are spring , summer, fall and winter.
T: I like a season. It’s warm. Trees turn green. The flowers come out. And the birds sing. Can you guess which season is? Ss: Spring. T: You are quite smart. You know my favorite season is spring because my birthday is in spring. Can you guess which month? March or…?
1.Teach “month”---Monday 2.Teach “March”, “April”

(T-Ss, T-Girls, T-Boys,升降调, G1,G2-G3,G4,“开火车”,齐读,分组读,个别读单词,使学生牢固掌握对月份单词的听、说、认读。) T: Now you can ask me when is my birthday. You can ask like this: When is your birthday?(write the sentence on the blackboard) Ss: When is your birthday? (three times) T: My birthday is in march . Step3: Practice T: Now supposed G1, G2 's birthday is in April. G3, G4 ask them when is you birthday? Then exchange.(the same way to practice the sentence with May) G1,G2 --- G3,G4 T: Well done! Listen! Whose birthday is in June? Teach “June”. (注意区别June—juice) T: Now please the students whose birthday is in June stand up ! We ask , whose birthday is in June?They should answer us, “My birthday is in June.(practice in low and high voice)
Step4 : Consolidation (1)Listen to the tape twice and answer. 1、 What’s Sally’s favorite month? 2、Whose birthday is in March? (2)Check the answer and pay attention to the pronuciation and tune.
