Unit 3 Look at this elephant. 一、教学目标

1.能听懂、会说、认读新单词funny,mouse,small,strong。

2.能用"Look at..."句型指认动物，用"It's..."描述动物特征。

二、教学重、难点

1.重点：能听懂、会说、认读新单词。

2.难点：单词“strong”的发音。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up 1.Greetings

Step 2 Presentation 1.New words T:Listen,what is this?(放老虎的叫声) Ss：It's a tiger. T:Is it strong?(引出新单词strong) 利用图片引出a big elephant。

T:Look at the elephant. It’s big.(引出重点句型Look at...,It’s...) 课件展示一只鸟飞过，新授a beautiful bird。以相同方式引出a funny monkey和a small mouse。

Step 3 Practice 1.单词操练Task 1 ：Match the words with the corresponding pictures.将单词与相应的图片匹配。

Task 2:Magic eyes 2.句型操练——Tiger ,tiger, look at the tiger . Strong ,strong, it’s strong.Monkey, monkey, look at the monkey . Funny, funny, it’s funny. Elephant ,elephant, look at the elephant . Big, big, it’s big. Bird , bird, look at the bird . Beautiful ,beautiful, it’s beautiful. Step 4 Consolidation 1.听录音，回答问题。Q1：How many kinds of animals are there? Q2：What are they? 2.Group work—— Let’s act & create your own zoo Step 5 Homework 1.向家人介绍你的动物园。
